IKA ROTAVISC Viscometers

Introducing IKA Viscometers – the ideal solution for accurate viscosity measurement in a wide range of industries. Whether in the laboratory or during quality control, IKA Viscometers provide highly precise measurement results with a good reproducibility of +/-0,2%. With multilingual and intuitive menu navigation, these viscometers are easy to use, and different measuring modes are available depending on your requirements.

Customer-specific spindles can be used and up to 10 different programs can be stored, ensuring maximum flexibility. IKA Viscometers come with a wide range of stands and spindles, allowing you to measure viscosity at different ranges. In addition, all IKA viscometers come with a PT 100 temperature sensor to ensure a viscosity value is only meaningful in combination with a temperature specification.

The ROTAVISC series offers four different devices that can deliver relative and absolute measurement results in different viscosity ranges. The measuring range for these devices is as follows: ROTAVISC lo-vi (1 – 6 000 000 mPas), ROTAVISC me-vi (100 – 40 000 000 mPas), ROTAVISC hi-vi I (200 – 80 000 000 mPas), and ROTAVISC hi-vi II (800 – 320 000 000 mPas).

For reliable viscosity measurement, IKA Viscometers are factory-calibrated using a specially developed high precision automated calibration station. We recommend calibration at regular intervals to ensure the validity of the measurement results in the future. Our calibration and maintenance agreement offers different maintenance and calibration intervals, depending on the type of device, type of application, and sample volume.

The user can verify the precision of their ROTAVISC with standard oils between intervals. In addition, our product portfolio is ideally oriented towards viscosity measurement in the following fields of application: lo-vi for juices, solvents, edible oils, inks, and liquid soaps; me-vi for paints / varnishes, mayonnaise, dairy products, and ketchup; and hi-vi I & hi-vi II for pastes, ointments, molasses, and gels.

IKA Viscometers are FDA CFR 21 Part 11 compliant, ensuring that they meet regulatory standards. With their accuracy, flexibility, and reliability, IKA Viscometers are the ideal choice for your viscosity measurement needs.

The Viscotester series of rotational viscometers are ideally suited to measure viscosity for quality control and to meet recognized standards. The HAAKE Viscotester E, D and C Rotational Viscometers measure the resistance of a test substance against a pre-set speed. The resulting torque or resistance measures the viscosity of the fluid.

The Viscotester iQ is a modular and intuitive rheometer, designed with maximum flexibility for all viscosity requirements. One instrument covers a wide viscosity range (0.1 – 60,000,000 cPs) and has 6 different measuring geometries including standard spindles and cone and plate, Peltier or water bath temperature control, stand alone or software control, plus a small footprint.
